Reva was born on November 20, 1943 in Spokane, Washington, and passed away at her home in in Buhl, Idaho on April 6, 2018, after a strong battle with lung cancer.
Reva worked 30 years in various positions for the Auburn School District from 1979 until her retirement in 2009. During her time as supervisor of maintenance, she was also the Hazmat specialist. She also served as president of the Auburn Public School Employees for a number of years. Reva made many life-long friends during her employment in the Auburn School District.
Reva enjoyed her family and friends and any new adventure from golfing to fishing and hunting, photography, carpentry, traveling, mechanics, gardening, horse racing, and continuing education. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched over the last 75 years.
Reva is survived by her partner, Judith Heidel of Buhl, Idaho; daughters, Cathy (Joe) Marpasert of Lacey, Washington, and Patricia Paul of Federal Way, Washington; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Gillespie of Sumner, Washington, Tyler Paul of Federal Way, Washington, Travis Paul of Mercer Island, Washington, and Tiana (Cecil) Minor of Spring, Texas, and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Will and Rose Stanley.
Reva was cremated and her remains will be in Spokane, Washington at Spokane Memorial Gardens alongside her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Snake River Canyon at Bliss, Idaho on May 6, 2018. An additional Celebration will be held in Auburn, Washington on June 2, 2018. In lieu of flowers, she suggested donations be made to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in her name or to a charity of your choice.
