Perry Wayne Fordin, 69, passed away December 18, 2018, at home, with his family by his side.
He was born in Soda Springs, ID to Perry & Helen Fordin on December 12, 1949. Siblings included Afton, Ernest, Wade & Glenna. Wayne lived the majority of his life in Elko, NV. He attended & graduated from Elko High School in 1967. He worked summers for Pieretti Ranches, then attended college at BYU Provo & graduated with a Bachelor in Psychology & Sociology in 1971. Perry worked for NYTC, worked in financing, assaying, mining, & Western States Propane.
Wayne married Karlene Tow on May 3, 1969. Wayne & Karlene had 3 children, Jean’, Jacy & Brandon (Sissy); 4 grandchildren, Chanelle (Chisum), Jake (Braydan), Tristan & Aspen; 2 great-grandchildren, Baylor & Cooper & another one due in March.
Wayne was active in motorcycle racing, go-cart racing, pleasure riding horses, traveling, camping & hunting. He was proud to be one of five founding fathers for Morrodders Car Club in Elko. He later enjoyed radio control airplanes.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00a.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Filer L.D.S. Church, 840 W Midway St, Filer, Idaho.
