Bonita "Bonnie" Halls, 77, of Twin Falls, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at home.
Bonita was born to Milton Nielsen and Dora R. Smith on February 14, 1941 at Burley, Idaho, the middle of five children, including Peter, Larry, Linda, and Connie.
Bonita had seven children; Prudi, Randy, Rocky, Jody, Mark, Hope, and Hans, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was two months away from becoming a great great-grandmother. She loved all of her children and family with ferocity. Her door was always open for anyone to visit and she always made sure you had plenty to eat. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother. She will be sorely missed. However, we know she is in a better place. She was a fighter and fought till the end. She always thought of others first, and showed her love for all every day.
Bonita is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great-grandchild on the way; her brother, Pete, and her sister, Linda.
She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Larry, and her youngest sister, Connie.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00p.m., November 17, 2018 at the River Christian Church, 4002 N. 3300 E., Twin Falls Idaho. We invite all who knew and cared for her to attend as we celebrate a life well lived.
Cremation is under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Chapel Life Celebration Center and Cremation Services of Idaho, Twin Falls. Condolences may be shared at www.serenityfuneralchapel.com.
